Sample Page

This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my blog. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)

…or something like this:

The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

  1. Naija247news investigations have revealed notable
politicians and business men who are interested in “Shell Camp Quarters” in Owerri
which lured Imo State governor, Rochas Anayo Okorocha, into demolition of existing properties of serving and retired civil servants already issued Certificate Of Occupancy (C-o-O) by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Among the accused persons are: Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, Stan Dara, Wife of Enugu State Governor, Mrs.
Monica Ugwuanyi, OB Stan, Deacon Chike Okafor, Uche Nwosu
(Okorocha’s son inlaw), Acho Ihim (Speaker Imo State House of Assembly), Gerald
Okorocha (brother to the governor), Jude Ejiogu,
and Leo Stan Eke a popular Nigerian businessman and chairperson of
    Zinox Technologies Limited.

Informed sources told our correspondent in New York over the
weekend that most of these accused persons said to be interested in the property had played various
roles in Okorocha’s “political ambitions and dominance”, while others named in the saga which inflicts
pains in the lives of these pensioners have either paid or agreed
to pay minimum of N50million for a space.

Shell Camp is a property of the Federal Government and is
residents are mostly state and federal civil servants (serving and retired).
Before we went to town with the news, agents claiming to be acting on the instructions of the Governor were pulling down structures of retired civil servants and rendering most of them
    homeless and helpless.

“Do we still have a country? If so, why should people wake up and suddenly disregard the laws for their own selfish interests? Please, someone should immediately let the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo to look into this matter because the C-of-O we all have were issued by the Federal Government of Nigeria who owns the property”, one of the
    affected persons said.

This heartless exercise started last week and the bulldozers are still seen at the area
which caused panic in the Owerri capital territory as affected persons said the action came to them by surprise with most of them crying for help and intervention of the Federal Government.
Already, there are indications that youths within the area are
planning to take to the street in protest against
    this selfish act.

  2. Acquiring Backlinks from Multiple Domains is Important

We know that earning backlinks to content
is important, but how important is it that
the backlinks are coming from different websites versus the same one?

Well, the data clearly shows that it’s really important to have
a substantial amount of diversity in the domains linking to your webpage(s).

This is probably one of the most clear-cut factors that equate
to high search engine rankings. In fact, the data showed that,
on average, webpages ranking #1 had over
168% more linking domains than the webpages ranking
    at #5.

This is even clearer to see when you look at the fact that webpages ranking #1 actually receive a 23% share of all
the linking domains pointing to webpages on page 1 of Google.

Whenever I map out a backlink acquisition strategy
for an SEO campaign, one of the first questions that I try to answer
is, “How can I get links from a wide range of different websites that are relevant to me?”

Higher volumes of backlinks are great, but combining that with
high diversity is what’s really going to move the needle.

To give you an idea of the general ratio that you may
want to aim for, I looked at the average ratio of backlinks to linking domains that
results ranking on page 1 of Google.com had.

As the trendline in the chart above indicates, the average ratio of backlinks to linking domains that page 1 ranking webpages had was 37:1.

It’s worth noting here that this isn’t necessarily what
you need to “aim for,” but rather it should be used as a benchmark to determine whether your current backlink profile could do with an increase in domain diversity.

Action: Use a tool like Ahrefs to analyze your ratio of
backlinks to linking domains. If you find that your backlinks are mainly coming from a small pool of
domains, look at a way to diversify your backlink strategy to get links from a greater variety
    of domains.
